Product Description

Brief features of our Preform mold
Cold-half Mold features
Neck rings designed in two parts to ensure the same axial degree of preforms in molding;
Optimized water-cooling channels to enhance preform cooling in mold and to guarantee fast cycle time;
Mold stacks are made of S136 stainless mould steel; the steel will be heat treated before finish tooling;
Plates and other parts of the frame are made of 420  stainless mold steel.
Hot-half Mold features
Hot-runner channels have the top engineering in balance design;
Main parts of hot-half mold such as heaters, valve-stems are imported from Europe;
Drops are controlled individually and heating zone temperatures are adjustable, AA value from thermal degradation is minimized.
Mold test:
The finished mold will be tested in our factory before delivery.
Preform Acceptance
Preforms molded from us PET mold are in optical clarity international standards;
Preform wall thickness variation within 0.12mm can be achieved for preform with standard neck;
Preform will be accepted in accordance with preform drawing.
Warranty Clause
18-month warranty starting on the date of mold dispatch our factory;
Claim or damage from customer's own operation mistakes reason shall not be applicable.
Remark:
Recommended chilling water temperature for mold cooling is 7-10ºC.

Thread tolerances are as per the International Society of Beverage Technologists "ISBT" standards. If the thread finish type is not within the ISBT standards, tolerances will be based on the approved preform drawing.

27)  Polarized light
Stress within a preform can be detected by the use of polarized light. Preform design, resin and processing conditions all affect the stresses within a preform.
As the stresses shown by polarized light are subjective, this tool will only be used for reference.
